Our Team
at Samuel F. McCormack Co., Inc. specializes in adjustments and appraisals of fire, multi-line, liability, recreational and marine loss for commercial and residential insurers. A 45 year industry veteran, SFMc employs staff comprised of talented professionals holding a variety of licenses and affiliations, as well as many years of relevant experience in working with national insurance carriers and adjusting firms.

A 20 year veteran of SFMc, Ed came on board after 13 years in the construction/renovation industry. He is a large loss adjuster who covers the entire territory for various specialty insurance carriers.
John has been with SFMc for 14 years. He is an adjuster for the south shore and the upper Cape. John resides in Plymouth and works from the Pocasset office on Cape Cod. John's diverse background includes a degree in chemistry and extensive experience in building construction. John handles all aspects of 1st and 3rd party property losses. He is currently an AIC candidate.
Doug is a senior construction estimator and a licensed Construction Supervisor with 30 years experience in building design, construction and mitigation with background in architecture, custom millwork and cabinetry, and HVAC controls. His certifications include Fire & Water and Mold Remediation. He works with all field adjusters to ensure accuracy and consistency of insurance estimating. Doug is also responsible for review and estimating of Ordinance OR Law Coverage and all other regulations associated with construction and property loss.
CPCU. Mark has 27 years experience in the industry. Formerly a claim manager for a New England mutual fire insurance company, Mark is now the Claims Manager for SFMc. Mark was also a property loss adjuster prior to his employment as a claims manager at the company level. Mark is a licensed insurance adjuster in the states of NH, RI and CT.
Dan came to SFMc with a background in construction and holds a Construction Supervisor License in Massachusetts. His prior experience includes being a project manager in the basement finishing division of Owens Corning. He is an adjuster for the central Massachusetts territory and he works with Doug Rane as a building estimator. Dan is a licensed insurance adjuster in the state of NH.
Peter has been working in the industry for 25 years. He is a former building contractor and holds a Construction Supervisor License in Massachusetts as well as being a former general adjuster for a national insurance carrier. Peter is a large loss adjuster who covers NH, RI and MA. A Cape Cod resident, Peter works out of the Cape Cod office, He holds insurance adjusting licenses in various states, including NY, VT, CT, RI and NH.
Coming to SFMc after working for a national adjusting firm, Mike is the north central Massachusetts resident adjuster and he also covers southern NH. He has 20 years experience handling diverse and complex property losses, both residential and commercial, including business interruption. Mike is a licensed insurance adjuster in the state of NH.
Paul came to SFMc after working for a New England independent insurance adjusting company. With 25 years in the industry, Paul is an experienced adjuster handling a large volume of claims for the metro Boston area and the south shore.
AIC. With 26 years experience in the industry, Liz came to SFMc after working for a national insurance carrier. She is Director of Human Resources and also handles inland marine and theft claims. Liz is a licensed insurance adjuster in the state of NH.
Barbara is a Senior Administrative Assistant/Office Manager and the coordinator of the Catastrophe Claims (CAT) program. She works with client companies and agents when needed and follows up directly with all SFMc staff adjusters. She has been associated with the company for 23 years and continues to manage all aspects of the daily business of SFMc.
Marketing Director for SFMc. With more than 20 years experience in the industry, Lynn's primary focus is developing new business and maintaining existing relationships with SFMc's valuable clients. She is committed to delivering excellent customer service while enthusiastically serving as a liaison between SFMc customers and their agents.
